Parent/Teacher Organizations Supporting OPUSD
Oak Park Unified School District (OPUSD) provides a high quality academic program and a wide range of extracurricular and enrichment opportunities for students. At the same time, OPUSD operates with significantly less funding than most districts. OPUSD receives approximately 30 percent less per pupil funding than the state average.
Despite this funding gap, OPUSD schools continue to offer strong academic and enrichment programs through the support of families and community partners. Parent teacher organizations, booster clubs, and other school connected groups play an important role in supporting schools through voluntary fundraising and service.
The district appreciates the work of these organizations and the generosity of parents, guardians, and community members whose donations help supplement state funding and support programs that enhance the student experience.
All organizations listed below are independent nonprofit organizations that support OPUSD and operate independently of the district and of one another.

Oak Park Education Foundation
The Oak Park Education Foundation (OPEF) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to supporting student success throughout the Oak Park Unified School District. We bridge the gap between state funding and actual educational costs by partnering with parents, community members, and local partners to mobilize support and resources to expand, enrich, and enhance the high-quality educational experiences for all OPUSD students. Through strategic investments in innovative academic programs, career enrichment, and safe learning environments, OPEF empowers our schools to remain among the top-performing districts in California.
