Meal Accounts

We use LINQ Connect for all student meal accounts and transactions. You can use LINQ to monitor purchases and add funds for second meals or snack bar items.

  • Notes on past balances: In December 2025, we transitioned from Q Parent Connect to LINQ. All remaining balances were automatically transferred, and Q balances are now set to zero. All current balances and future transactions are strictly in LINQ.
  • Register or Sign In to LINQ
  • Instructions for Adding Funds

Effective September 1, 2026, LINQ will begin assessing a $25 Returned Item Fee for each ACH payment returned by a financial institution. This fee applies to all return types, including insufficient funds, account closures, stop payments, and invalid account information.

To donate a remaining balance to the Student Nutrition Department:

Please email schoolmeals@opusd.org with the 1) first and last name of the child with the positive balance and 2) amount to be donated.

To transfer funds between students:

Please email schoolmeals@opusd.org with the 1) first and last name of the child with the positive balance, 2) first and last name of the child receiving the funds, and 3) amount to be transferred.

To request a refund on a student's meal account:

Please email schoolmeals@opusd.org with the 1) first and last name of the child with the positive balance, 2) amount of the refund requested, and 3) first and last name and mailing address of the person to whom the refund check should be issued. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund to be processed.
